Dow Energy & Water Solutions (DE&WS) intent to maintain its competitive lead and value added products through a robust research and development programme. A large portion of water business is dealt with through Dow Water and Processes solution which encompasses Reverse Osmosis (RO), nanofiltration, membranes Ion Exchange (IX) resins, ultrafiltration and a fine particle filter. Dow Microbial, an alternate business concerned with aspects of water treatment, creates biocides which are implemented in industrial water treatment. This article includes a discussion between Ultrapure and Lary Ryan (business president for DE&WS) surrounding future plans for development within the water business.
