STMicroelectronics, set to double its production capacity, seeks to reclaim wastewater to feed UPW lines (end-of-pipe wastewater reclamation plant), because of the local municipalities' limitation to extract more freshwater. A water recycling/reclaim strategy has been implemented to meet future water withdrawal needs.
