Taiwan already has PM2.5 limitations in place, while Germany has the TA Luft law that governs all air emissions. Additional governmental agencies may enact more strict controls in the future as well. These standards are only becoming more strict as time goes on, and retrofitting existing installations with additional equipment to meet these newer and more stringent limits could be very costly. This presentation gives insights to leverage current best known methods (BKMs) for projects to ensure that the emissions are as low as possible, also taking into account cost factors.
