About

UNISERS is a Swiss start-up which provides analytical instruments for identifying defects on silicon wafers. Surface Enhanced Raman Spectra (SERS) can detect sub-10nm particles with a patented nanotechnology which enhances the optical signals of particles by three orders of magnitudes. Whilst other particle characterization technologies can only perform elemental analysis, SERS can provide molecular analysis and chemically identify polymers.

UNISERS also participates in IRDS yield enhancement studies, with SERS technology being used to perform particle characterization analysis for proactive particle control experimentation.

In February 2023, UNISERS secured $14 million in a funding round which was led by Intel Capital.
