ST Microelectronics had a existing pellet reactor installed which wasn't functioning appropriately. RHDHV as owner of Crystalactor technology stepped in a supported with trouble shooting and retrofitting this installation into a Crystalactor. Where the original installation only produced sludge the retrofitted installation started to produce CaF2 pellets. These pellets have a 95% dry solid content and are currently applied in the steel industry, showing the Crystalactor can be applied to HF contaminated water to produce a pellet instead of wet sludge which offers the opportunity for a zero waste solution.
